Job summary

MSD is seeking an Intern - Associate Technical Specialist to join the Laboratory Operations IPT. You will contribute to equipment qualification and improvement projects, working in a collaborative environment with engineers, microbiologists and quality specialists.

You will engage in supporting day‑to‑day operations, solving technical problems, and ensuring compliance with EHS and regulatory standards as part of a fixed‑term internship. The role emphasizes learning and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a third level qualification in a Science or Engineering related subject.
• Interest in process engineering, validation, instrumentation, project management and related areas.
• Excellent communication, decision making and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to projects for introduction and qualification of new equipment.
• Aid in troubleshooting technical issues and investigations.
• Collaborate with cross functional groups to support change management and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with site EHS policy, cGMP and regulatory inspections.
• Uphold high standards of Quality, Compliance and Safety within QMS requirements.
