Job summary

MSD Malaysia is offering an on-site internship in Process Sciences to gain hands-on experience with HPLC testing and lab operations. You will contribute to routine and non-routine analyses, learn data interpretation, and support ongoing process improvement initiatives in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Candidates working towards a Science qualification or a relevant discipline.
• Exposure to HPLC testing and data analysis preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in routine and non-routine HPLC testing of manufacturing and development material.
• Maintain HPLC systems and troubleshoot issues as required.
• Work as part of the Process Sciences team performing technical duties.
• Review and trend test results.
• Run and troubleshoot pharmaceutical unit operations at small scale.
• Participate in daily Technical meetings and communicate progress effectively.
• Ensure adherence to quality requirements within the department daily.
• Apply problem-solving techniques to troubleshoot equipment/experimental issues.
• Support audit and inspection readiness to maintain compliance.
• Collaborate by sharing skills with others.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the lab.
