Job summary

InterSystems seeks a Kubernetes Developer to join our global infrastructure and platform engineering team. The role focuses on Go-based development for Kubernetes‑native software, and you will work with Kubernetes architects, DevOps, SRE and security teams to build reliable, production‑ready platform capabilities.

You will gain hands‑on experience with Helm, Terraform, GitOps tools (Argo CD, Flux), RBAC and secure defaults while turning repeatable operations into scalable platform software

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years in software engineering or platform engineering roles.
• Strong Go development experience or proven ability to work effectively in Go.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native deployment patterns.
• Familiarity with CRDs, RBAC, and cluster lifecycle concepts; GitOps tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Kubernetes-native software in Go, including controllers and CRDs.
• Build automation for provisioning, upgrades, scaling, and recovery of managed services.
• Write unit and integration tests; support CI/CD pipelines for platform software.
• Collaborate with SRE, security and application teams; contribute to runbooks and documentation.
• Implement secure defaults, observability, and reliability through RBAC and policy controls.
