Job summary

Howdens Joinery is recruiting Kitchen Sales Designers to thrive in a fast-paced trade environment. You will build trusted relationships with trade customers and clients, driving sales while delivering design support.

No prior design experience is needed; full training is provided. The role involves home visits, a 40-hour week, and benefits including pension, generous leave, staff discount, and a team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Experience hitting sales targets and KPIs.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with trade customers and clients.
• Excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively.
• Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle for home visits.
• Attention to detail and eye for design.
• CAD skills preferred; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance and profit by meeting depot targets.
• Build strong customer relationships through design support.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout projects.
• Conduct home visits to measure client needs and advise on design.
• Negotiate prices while protecting margin and design integrity.
• Plan and create practical designs using product knowledge to resolve queries.
