Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Ireland is seeking a kitchen assistant to support the Head and Sous Chefs, helping run the kitchen smoothly on a daily basis.

You will work mornings, evenings, and weekends, contribute to food quality, maintain cleanliness, adhere to HACCP standards, and join a team dedicated to guest care and internal development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a kitchen.
• Flexibility in working hours as the role includes mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
• Monitor food and maintain an adequate supply of clean ware and utensils.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness at all times and support HACCP standards.

Your Job

• Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
• Take direction from department managers and assist in the monitoring of food. Maintaining a supply of clean ware/cooking ware & kitchen utensils at all times
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens at all times
• Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP standards
