Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the head chef and kitchen team in daily operations. You will help monitor food, maintain cleanware, and ensure HACCP standards are followed in a busy hotel kitchen.

The role includes mornings/evenings and weekends with opportunities for development and progression through our Dalata Academy, alongside a friendly team and staff events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a kitchen.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings/weekends.
• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.
• Monitor food and maintain supplies of clean ware/cooking ware & kitchen utensils.
• Ensure the kitchens are kept clean and HACCP standards are observed.

Your Job:

• Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef with the overall running of the kitchen.


• Take direction from department managers and assist in the monitoring of food. Maintaining a supply of clean ware/cooking ware & kitchen utensils at all times


• Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens at all times


• Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP standards

What You’ll Need:
