Job summary

CareChoice Finglas is hiring a Kitchen Porter on a permanent part-time basis at an on-site Dublin location. You will help keep the kitchen clean, support the team, and ensure food safety and infection control practices are followed in a busy care home environment.

Key duties include dishwashing, safe storage of products, HACCP compliance, and assisting with dining room equipment and overall hygiene. Training and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Kitchen Porter role in CareChoice Finglas focusing on kitchen cleanliness and safety.
• Awareness of HACCP guidelines and food handling requirements.
• Adherence to infection control policies and health and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist in keeping the kitchen clean; ensure dishwashing efficiency.
• Follow safe storage and use of food and cleaning products.
• Comply with HACCP guidelines and report equipment defects as needed.
• Support meal service by ensuring crockery is ready on time.
