Job summary

Sodexo Ringaskiddy, Cork is hiring a Kitchen Porter on a full-time basis. The role runs Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, 7:00am to 3:15pm, with a rate of €14.80 per hour. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean and support the chefs to deliver high-quality catering services.

We provide full training; prior kitchen experience is a plus. You’ll be part of a team that values cleanliness, efficiency, and a positive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Full training provided for role.
• Fast-paced, high-energy environment experience is a plus.
• Good eye for cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen areas, equipment, crockery, and utensils clean, tidy, and well-organised.
• Help the chefs to check, accept, and correctly store incoming deliveries.
• Disposing of kitchen waste and recyclables safely and responsibly.
• Assist chefs with food prep tasks if needed.
• Work closely with the kitchen team and supporting your colleagues.
