Job summary

Cavan Crystal Hotel in County Cavan is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team and ensure smooth operation during busy service. You will help by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, assisting with washing dishes, stocking supplies, and helping delegate tasks to the team while following HACCP and safety guidelines.

The role involves working 3 to 5 shifts per week, mornings/evenings and weekends, with a competitive hourly wage and benefits under Windward Management.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain cleanliness.
• HACCP/safety procedures awareness.
• Willingness to work shifts including mornings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef and kitchen porters.
• Maintain dish, glassware and cutlery stock.
• Maintain high HACCP standards and kitchen cleanliness.
• Wash dishes using the dishwasher and ensure supplies.
• Assist with ordering and stock control.
