Job summary

Trim Castle Hotel in Co. Meath, Ireland, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support busy hotel operations on site. The role covers dishwashing, cleaning, basic food preparation and stock organisation within the kitchen.

Applicants should be flexible to work 3-5 days over a 7-day week, including bank holidays, and must have permission to work in Ireland. Prior experience is desirable but not essential; staff benefits are offered with this permanent full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing: Washing and sanitising all kitchenware, including pots, pans, cutlery, and dishes.
• Cleaning: Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, surfaces, equipment, and food preparation areas.
• Food Preparation: Assisting with basic food preparation tasks like peeling, chopping, and washing vegetables.
• Inventory Management: Helping with the receiving and storage of food and kitchen supplies, and keeping storage areas organised.
• Waste Management: Emptying bins and ensuring proper disposal of kitchen waste.
• Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment like ovens, grills, and sinks.
