Job summary

Gourmet Food Parlour in Ireland is seeking an experienced kitchen porter to join our Santry-based catering kitchen team. The role focuses on washing crockery, cleaning, maintaining tidy stores, supporting deliveries, and assisting the Head Chef as needed.

We value teamwork, calm performance under pressure, and flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and nights. Participants must have a valid work permit and English language proficiency.

We're looking for someone who's excited to come in to work every day and who's ready to develop the team, grow with the brand & tackle challenges.

Skills Required

• Wash crockery and utensils
• Daily clean of kitchen areas
• Deep clean of kitchen equipment
• Keep store areas neat and tidy
• Provide Porter support with deliveries
• Keep waste areas clean and tidy, disposal of packaging, recycling .
• Provide Porter support in all areas controlled by Head Chef
• Accept training to enable safe completion of duties
• Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time

The Ideal Candidate Must

• Be a team player
• Be calm under pressure & be able to multitask and work to tight deadlines
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards adhering to HACCP guidelines and store safety and security.
• Engage with and understand other team members through clear and pleasant communication
• Comply within company dress and personal hygiene code that meets HACCP guidelines
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
• Have a valid work permit/visa
