Job summary

GROW HQ in Waterford is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support our daytime café service and seasonal evening service. This permanent, full-time role reports to the Head Chef and runs Monday to Friday with consistent hours.

You will wash dishes, keep the kitchen clean, assist with basic food prep, and help with deliveries and closing duties. Training is provided; prior kitchen experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen and wash-up area.
• Assisting with basic food preparation when required.
• Receiving, checking and putting away deliveries.
• Supporting the chefs and wider kitchen team throughout service.
• Following all food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures.
• Assisting with end-of-day cleaning and closing duties.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. This is a permanent, full-time position supporting our daytime café service and seasonal evening service.

The role will primarily involve working Monday to Friday

Operational Hours

Monday - 9:00am - 4:30pm

Tuesday – 9:00am – 4:30pm

Wednesday – 9:00am – 4:30pm

Thursday – 9:00am – 4:30pm

Friday – 9:00am – 4:30pm

Job Responsibilities
