Job summary

Sodexo Ireland is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the University of Galway campus with a focus on cleanliness and efficient kitchen operations. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and a starting rate of €14.15 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Keep all kitchen areas, equipment, crockery and utensils clean, tidy and well-organised
• Help chefs check, accept and correctly store incoming deliveries
• Dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables safely and responsibly
• Assist chefs with food preparation tasks when required
• Support the smooth running of kitchen operations during busy service periods
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures at all times
• Work closely with the kitchen team and support colleagues where needed

What you will do
