Job summary

Windward Management is seeking a Kitchen Porter for the Connemara Coast Hotel on Galway Bay. This midweek-availability role reports to the Executive Head Chef and requires helping maintain the highest standards of food hygiene in a busy, customer-focused kitchen.

The hotel prides itself on quality, style and luxury across its four-star resort. Your daily tasks include loading and operating the industrial dishwasher, cleaning crockery and utensils, tidying walk-in fridges, and sanitising walls

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a large kitchen is a bonus.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy periods.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Using an industrial dishwasher to clean crockery and cutlery.
• Lifting and carrying loads.
• Cleaning cooking equipment and utensils.
• Cleaning inside of walk-in fridges.
• Cleaning walls and benches in the kitchen.
• Maintaining a clean environment in the kitchen.
• Emptying bins.
• Be available for late night shifts.

Join our fabulous team at the Connemara Coast Hotel as a Kitchen Porter.

Reporting to the Executive Head Chef, the Kitchen Porter assist in providing the highest of food hygiene in a customer focused environment.
