Job summary

Evergreen Care is seeking a Part-time Kitchen Assistant to join our team in Ireland. The role offers in-house and further training, with responsibilities including kitchen upkeep, hygiene compliance, and food preparation under supervision. Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as Kitchen Assistant.
• Adhere to Basic Food Hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Prepare food as directed by the cook.
• Cook as required under supervision and serve meals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the catering department in a clean, hygienic manner and keep the dining room tidy and inviting.
• Ensure excellence in presentation of food.
• Keep a well-stocked kitchen and be economical with resources.
• Encourage staff to use resources efficiently.
• Support a home-like environment where residents are central to decisions and dignity is maintained.
