Job summary

Ethos Care Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support our Catering Supervisor/Chef in delivering high-quality, nutritious meals within a caring residential setting. You’ll help ensure residents enjoy safe, balanced, and appetising food every day while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.

Qualifications

Passion for food and supporting older people.
Team player with good communication skills.
Previous kitchen or care experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation, cooking, and baking
Maintain high standards of hygiene, HACCP, and food safety
Support menu planning and dietary requirements
Help with food storage, stock control, and records
Engage positively with residents and promote person-centred care
