Job summary

TTM Healthcare Solutions is hiring Kitchen Assistants to join a HSE hospital in Fermoy, Co. Cork. This agency role offers flexible shifts and supports essential hospital catering services.

Benefits include weekly pay, pay rates of €17.71–€21.45 per hour, and dedicated consultant support. Garda Vetting and eligibility to work in Ireland are required; will discuss next steps with shortlisted candidates.

Qualifications

• HACCP Level 1 certification and knowledge of food safety standards.
• Understanding dietary needs and resident nutrition requirements.
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting and provide Garda clearance if applicable.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland with EU passport or Stamp 1G/2/4/4D/5/4EUfam.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and serving of meals according to dietary requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene protocols in kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in kitchen and storage areas.
• Handle food and equipment safely and work as part of a catering team.
• Support hospital catering services and collaborate with the team.

Requirements:

• HACCP Level 1 certification and awareness of food safety standards
• Understanding of dietary needs and levels for residents
• Right to work in Ireland (EU passport or Stamp 1G, 2, 4, 4D, 5, 4 EUFam)
• International Police Clearance (if applicable)
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting
