Job summary

SSO Personnel is seeking a Sales Executive in Cahir, Ireland, to build strong customer relationships, grow sales, and identify new business opportunities in a fast-paced, target-driven setting.

You will manage key accounts, prepare quotes, follow orders and payments, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent service while staying current with product knowledge and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Motivated, target-driven and organised.
• Confident in negotiation and consultative selling.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Experience in the building merchant or construction sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing key accounts.
• Prepare quotes and follow up on orders, deliveries, and payments.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing and place supplier orders.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
• Track sales activity through the CRM system and meet agreed targets.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends.
