Job summary

Fineco Asset Management DAC, based in Dublin, seeks a highly skilled professional to lead the design, structuring and ongoing management of Structured Funds. You will work with internal teams and external banks to develop innovative solutions and manage portfolio risk.

The role offers hybrid working options and requires deep knowledge of derivatives, quantitative analysis and fund launches. A proactive, independent, and team-oriented candidate will thrive and contribute to growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in investment management would be a plus, in Structured Products or as a Derivatives Trader.
• Excellent analytical and learning skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of derivatives either as a trader or structurer would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Structuring, development and implementation of new structured investment funds and derivative-based investment solutions.
• Analyse market conditions and evaluate payoff structures to identify optimal investment solutions at launch.
• Coordinate end-to-end fund launch with stakeholders and counterparties to ensure timely execution.
• Develop, enhance and maintain internal tools for derivatives pricing, portfolio monitoring, risk analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Legal and Product teams on fund documentation and reporting.

Fineco Asset Management DAC (‘Fineco AM’) is a Dublin based Asset Management Company, and asubsidiary of FinecoBank S.p.A. (“FinecoBank”). FinecoBank (“Fineco”) is a leading European bank with a 20-year history and a fully digital DNA with a branchless approach since the start. Fineco is one of the banks with the widest products range available. Fineco have developed a truly one-stop-solution which includes trading, investment and payment services. Fineco have developed a 100% proprietary platform for trading and investment which covers all customer needs from trading listed and OTC product to investment product such as mutual funds and ETF.

Fineco AM, which started its operations in May 2018, is authorized by the Central Bank of Ireland as a UCITS & AIFM Management Company with a MIFID top up, and it currently has approximately €39bn in assets under management. Fineco AM is a competence centre- specialised in the management of fund-of-funds, single strategy funds, as well as Structured Solutions Funds. In addition to portfolio management activities, all key supporting and controlling functions, such as Compliance, Risk, Finance and Legal, are also performed locally. The company started with 5 employees and has experienced strong and consistent growth, with a current headcount of approximately 95 FTE’s. Currently Fineco AM manages 3 UCITS Umbrella Funds – 1 in Luxembourg and 2 in Ireland.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Structured Product Solutions, you will join an analytical, engaging, and collaborative investment team. The primary focus of the role will be the design, structuring, launch and ongoing management of Structured Funds. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute across the full product lifecycle, from idea generation and quantitative analysis through to execution, monitoring and portfolio management. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, external investment banks and service providers to develop innovative investment solutions that meet evolving market conditions and investor needs.

Responsibilities:

• Structuring, development and implementation of new structured investment funds and derivative-based investment solutions.
• Analyse market conditions and evaluate alternative payoff structures to identify optimal investment solutions at the point of launch.
• Coordinate the end-to-end fund launch process, working closely with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Develop, enhance and maintain internal tools for derivatives pricing, portfolio monitoring, risk analysis and performance reporting.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Operations, Legal and Product teams in the preparation of fund documentation, investment committee materials and board reporting.
• Monitor and evaluate the ongoing performance and risk profile of structured fund portfolios, ensuring alignment with investment objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain relationships with investment bank counterparties and other market participants to support product development and execution activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing investment processes, controls and operational efficiencies across the Structured Products platform.

Profile/Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in the investment management industry would be a plus, in the Structured Products space or as a Derivatives Trader.
• Excellent analytical and learning skills and attention to details.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL and Visual Basic would be seen as favourable.
• Strong knowledge of Derivatives either as a Trader or Structurer role ( either as a Trader or Structurer role would be seen as favourable).
• Someone who is passionate and knowledgeable about financial markets and investments.
• Be a self-starter who can take initiative and operate successfully on an independent basis.
