Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Aughrim, Co. Wicklow, Ireland, is seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef to join our growing hospitality team. This role suits an experienced culinary professional with a passion for delivering excellent food and service in a busy kitchen.

You will oversee daily kitchen operations, help plan menus with the Head Chef, mentor new crew, and uphold food safety and high standards. We offer 39-hour full-time contracts, 20 days annual leave, staff meals, and a competitive €36,700

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Kitchen Crew in the creation, planning, and execution of menus.
• Assist in the training, mentoring, and development of new crew members, fostering a positive, supportive, and efficient work environment.
• Lead by example, contributing to a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively, showing strong initiative and leadership skills.
• Maintain excellent standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation.
