Job summary

Citi Dublin is seeking an entry-level Securities & Derivatives Settlements Analyst to support the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions. You will coordinate with the Operations - Transaction Services team and contribute to accurate trade processing and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of Treasury products, accounting and regulatory policies.
• Proven ability to perform multiple concurrent activities in a high-risk environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of macros.
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Perform trade verifications to ensure accuracy of booking requests.
• Generate and match trade confirmations according to ISDA templates.
• Complete settlement tasks and daily rate revaluations accurately and on time.
• Coordinate transaction processing issues across departments to find solutions.
• Perform regulatory controls, account reconciliations and record retention as per policy.
• Prepare and submit periodic regulatory reports.
• Participate in periodic GL proofing exercises as directed.
• Assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citi and assets, and escalate control issues.
