Job summary

U.S. Bank in Dublin seeks a Custody Operations Specialist (Settlements) to join its Global Custody team. You’ll monitor trade activity, settle trades and support multiple currencies across 90+ markets, under tight deadlines.

The role requires 2–4 years’ experience, SWIFT know-how, and a keen eye for detail. It offers a market-competitive package and the chance to grow within a globally trusted financial services leader; three or more days onsite at Cherrywood.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience / transferrable skills.
• 2-4 years industry experience required.
• Settlement and SWIFT experience desired.
• Ability to work under strict multi-currency deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical, problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication.
• Organised, able to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor trade activity to settlement status and investigate failed settlements.
• Manually settling trades within internal systems.
• Provide operational support for security trades including various instruments.
• Support internal teams with knowledge of trade activity, failed trades, payments and cash.
