SSA Consulting Group is recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor for a Kerry-based position with a strong training focus and clear progression path. You will work within an established team on sports pitches and related construction works, supporting commercial activities from tender through project completion.

The ideal candidate holds a Quantity Surveying degree, has 2+ years of QS exposure, and possesses strong numeracy and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Graduate to 2+ years' QS experience.
• Strong numerical and communication skills.
• Construction experience beneficial but not essential.
• Full driving licence beneficial.
• Valid working rights within Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Assist with subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations.
• Handle cost reporting, measurement and tendering.
• Support general commercial management of projects.

SSA is recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a specialist contractor for a position based in Kerry.

About the role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join an established team and gain hands‑on commercial experience across a range of specialist construction projects.

You will work alongside experienced members of the commercial and project teams, assisting with subcontractor procurement, valuations, variations, cost reporting, measurement, tendering and the general commercial management of projects.
