Job summary

FT Workforce in Dublin is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor for a full-time, permanent role based in Dublin. The candidate should have strong knowledge of the Irish construction industry and be keen to develop a career in Quantity Surveying.

Role involves assisting with costs, budgets, tenders and commercial documentation, with opportunities for progression in a growing Irish construction team. Applicants must have legal right to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Irish construction industry is essential.
• Good numerical, analytical and organisational skills are required.
• Excellent communication and commercial awareness are important.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and management of project costs and budgets.
• Support the preparation of tender documentation and cost estimates.
• Assist with subcontractor and supplier enquiries.
• Monitor project expenditure and identify cost variations.
• Help prepare valuations, reports and other commercial documentation.
• Liaise with site teams, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Support senior Quantity Surveyors with the commercial management of construction projects.
