Job summary

Jobtailor in Ireland is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to support cost management across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will assist in cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans, and help with tender preparation and procurement activities.

You'll measure quantities, prepare bills of quantities, monitor costs, and contribute to financial reporting for clients while working closely with senior quantity surveyors and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• ,Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or related discipline.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Willing to learn cost management software and digital construction tools.
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Internship/placement or construction industry experience desirable.
• Knowledge of Irish construction contracts (PWFC & RIAI) and procurement methods desirable.
• Membership of SCSI and/or RICS desirable.

• Working towards membership of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and/or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) (desirable)
• Willing to learn cost management software and digital construction tools (desirable)
• Driving licence (desirable)
