Job summary

Ratio Recruitment is seeking a Junior Project Manager on behalf of a leading Irish construction contractor based in Galway. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and progress within a growing team.

You will support senior project managers during design and build stages, assist with planning, scheduling, resourcing and forecasting, liaise with clients and sub-contractors, and help with site documentation and procurement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 1–2 years post-grad experience in Ireland or the UK.
• Strong organisational skills and proficiency with paperwork/computers.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with technical activities during design and build stages.
• Assist with planning, scheduling, resourcing and forecasting technical activities.
• Liaise with clients on expectations and provide project updates.
• Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors on site.
• Assist with documentation including labour time sheets, supplier docs, H&S and quality paperwork.
• Assist with procurement of site equipment.

I am currently hiring a Junior Project Manager for a leading Irish Construction Contractor based in Galway.

Responsibilities:

The successful Junior Project Manager will be working within a growing team, you will be given autonomy and the scope to grow and learn as the business grows. You will be responsible for the following:

• Support the Project Managers with all technical activities during design and build stages
• Assist with planning, scheduling, resourcing and forecasting technical activities
• Liaise with clients on expectations and provide project updates.
• Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors on site
• Assist with all documentation, from labour time sheets, supplier documents and H&S and Quality paperwork
• Assist with procurement of all equipment for site

Requirements:

• Ideally degree qualified in Construction Management or similar discipline will also be considered
• 1 - 2 years post grad experience within construction in Ireland or the UK
• Very strong organisational skills and adept with paperwork and computers (Microsoft etc.)
