Job summary

National Vehicle Distribution is seeking a graduate product engineer to join our expanding team. We design, manufacture and supply vehicle solutions for the automotive sector, including converting passenger vehicles and bespoke van ply lining.

You will help implement a new ERP system, design products with Inventor, and support manufacturing with continuous improvement and ISO 9001 compliance. Degree in Engineering is required and experience in vehicle engineering is desirable.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering is required or strongly preferred.
Experience in product engineering within vehicle modification or manufacturing is desirable.
Familiarity with Inventor and ERP systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Work with management to implement and roll out a new ERP system across the business.
Design new products using Inventor and prepare for market, including design reviews and manufacturability checks.
Prototype and test designs; support continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
Ensure ISO 9001 compliance within the organization and assist with supplier procurement.
Collaborate with operations on assembly and installation of group products, including providing technical drawings and knowledge.
