Job summary
National Vehicle Distribution is seeking a graduate product engineer to join our expanding team. You will work on converting vehicles for the automotive sector, designing with Inventor and supporting new product introduction processes.
Responsibilities include implementing an ERP system with base data rollout, testing, and ensuring ISO 9001 compliance, plus procurement support and continuous improvement in manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering.
- Experience in product engineering within vehicle bodybuilding or manufacturing environment desirable.
Responsibilities
- Work with management on the implementation and integration of a new ERP system, including data preparation and testing.
- Support the evolution of the ERP system to meet business needs and rollout in the workshop.
- Design new products for market in line with the NVD new product introduction process, including design reviews and design for manufacturing.
- Prototype and iterate; incorporate customer feedback and ensure serial production readiness.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects in manufacturing and support ISO 9001 compliance.
- Assist in procurement with a range of suppliers and provide technical drawings and know-how to operations.
