Job summary

Ingersoll Rand, a leading plastics fabrication environment in Ireland, seeks a Junior Plastics Fabricator to assist in manufacturing, assembly and finishing of plastic products. You will learn a range of fabrication techniques, operate workshop machinery and hand tools, and contribute to producing custom components within a specialist team.

The role offers a hands-on development path in a quality-driven facility, with emphasis on safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork across production

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or a similar hands-on environment is desirable but not essential.
• Interest in learning plastic fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Good numerical skills and ability to read measurements accurately.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret basic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and finish plastic products per drawings.
• Operate workshop machinery and hand tools safely.
• Measure, cut, shape, drill, route, and deburr plastics.
• Read technical drawings and production specs.
• Conduct quality checks on components and finished goods.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Support senior fabricators and learn advanced processes.
• Engage in continuous improvement and training opportunities.
