Ingersoll Rand Ireland is seeking a Junior Plastics Fabricator to join our Dungarvan-based fabrication team. You will learn and perform basic fabrication, assembly and finishing of plastic components, operate a range of workshop machinery and hand tools, and follow drawings and specifications to produce quality parts.

Qualifications

• Desire to work in manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Interest in learning plastic fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Good numerical skills and ability to read measurements accurately.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret basic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in fabrication, assembly and finishing of plastic products per drawings and specs.
• Safely operate workshop machinery and hand tools (saws, routers, drills, sanders).
• Measure, cut, shape, drill, route and deburr plastic materials to spec.
• Read and interpret basic technical drawings and production instructions.
• Perform quality checks to ensure components meet standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Support senior fabricators with projects and develop skills across processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training.
