Job summary

Leading Irish Building Contractor is seeking a Junior EHS Advisor to join multiple construction sites from the South Dublin office. You will work with the EHS Manager to implement ISO-based safety management, and gain exposure to diverse projects.

The role requires at least one year of construction site Health & Safety experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel between sites. Attractive benefits and permanent position offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum NFQ Level 7 and a Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health.
• At least one year of construction site Health & Safety experience.
• Residential or commercial construction safety knowledge.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Support ISO-accredited Safety Management System implementation on sites.
• Review subcontractor safety docs including Method Statements and Safe Plans of Action.
• Conduct site inductions for employees, subcontractors and visitors.
• Deliver weekly safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Assist with incident investigations and safety audits.
• Support day-to-day safety management and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with EHS Manager and project teams.
