Job summary

EHS International is seeking a Junior Safety Advisor in Ireland to support senior EHS professionals across diverse construction and civil engineering projects. You will help maintain safety standards, conduct site inspections, and embed a culture of safety on client sites.

Requirements include a related degree or diploma, 0–2 years in safety, construction exposure, and knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation. Training and mentoring are available within a growing team.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a safety-related role; internships or site placements welcome.
• Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Construction site experience or familiarity with construction environments is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and relevant codes of practice.
• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
• Competency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting tools.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification beneficial.

As a Junior Safety Advisor, you will support our senior EHS professionals in delivering safety solutions across a variety of projects. You’ll play an important role in maintaining safety standards, conducting site inspections, and helping to embed a culture of safety across client operations. Construction experience is highly beneficial , as many of our clients operate within the construction and civil engineering sectors.
