Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment is recruiting a Junior EHS Advisor for a leading Irish building contractor with an office in South Dublin. The role focuses on implementing ISO-based safety management on-site, reviewing subcontractor documentation, and conducting inductions and safety briefings.

You will support work planning, manage daily site safety, and monitor environmental risks on residential or commercial construction sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health (Minimum level 7).
• Minimum of 1 years recent experience on a Residential or Commercial Construction site.

Responsibilities

• Implement ISO-accredited safety management system requirements on-site.
• Review subcontractor documentation, Method Statements, and Safe Plans of Action.
• Conduct site inductions and weekly safety briefings.
• Participate in work planning and site coordination meetings.
• Manage daily site safety, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Monitor environmental risks and hazardous materials.
• Conduct site observations, inspections, and audits.
• Compile information for the Safety File and assist in incident investigations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the EHS Manager.
