Aztec Group is hiring a Junior Depositary Analyst in Kilkenny. The role covers routine depositary functions, monitoring cash flows, safekeeping assets, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will assist the Depositary Manager, handle queries, and contribute to KPI reporting and board materials.

You will supervise junior staff, participate in training, and help refine operating procedures. A strong eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills are required to deliver a high-quality service

Responsabilidades

• Monitor cash flows passing through the fund platform following established procedures.
• Safekeeping of fund assets via custody or verification of ownership.
• Oversee operation of the fund platform with ex post controls and checks.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in collaboration with the Depositary Manager.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and respond to internal and external queries as a 4-eyes reviewer.
• Support billing, onboarding and delegated tasks, assisting the direct line Manager.
• Provide oversight and monitoring, including transaction reviews and documentation collection.
• Contribute to KPI reporting and prepare materials for Board meetings.
• Train and develop junior staff and refine operating procedures with the Manager.

If you are passionate, curious, innovative and data driven, you could still be a good fit. **About the role:** **Reports to Depositary Manager**The purpose of this position is to carry out routine day-to-day functions of the Aztec Group Depositary services offering.**Key responsibilities:*** Assume responsibility for monitoring all cash flows passing through the fund platform following the given procedures* Assume responsibility for the safe keeping of fund assets, whether through custody or more general verification of ownership* Oversee the proper operation of the fund platform, implementing a number of ex post controls and checks to achieve it* In conjunction with the direct line Manager, ensure that the depositary services department complies with all legal and regulatory requirements* Act as a higher authority on internal and external day-to-day queries* Support direct line Manager on delegated tasks (Billing, onboarding, etc)* Take responsibility for providing oversight and monitoring, including transaction reviews and documentation collection process* Act as a 4-eyes level of review on depositary matters, ensuring Aztec policy and professional guidelines are adhered to and that a professional quality service is provided to clients and outside contacts* Prepare KPI reporting and present it in Board meetings* Supervise and assist in the training and development of more junior staff* Actively participate to establish and refine operating procedures relating to the depositary services offering in collaboration with direct line Manager**Skills, knowledge, expertise:*** Sound technical knowledge (to be supported through the Aztec Academy and bespoke on the job training)* Computer literacy, word processing and spread sheet skills are essential* Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts* An eye for detail and good degree of initiative with an ability to provide commercial, risk sensitive solutions for clients* A willingness to read and interpret domestic and EU regulations and legislation is desirable* Experience of day to day supervision of at least one employee coupled with a desire to develop responsibilities within the people management arena* Experience of responsibility for a client relationship or a significant part of a major client relationship is also essentialWe will provide the training, both in house for relevant technical knowledge and also professional qualifications to enhance your professional development.
