Job summary

Glanua in Ireland is seeking a Civil Junior Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team delivering water and wastewater projects from design through handover.

You will learn from industry-leading project teams in a one-team culture, assist senior staff, and develop your career across design, pricing, delivery and operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Interest in water and wastewater projects and the built environment.
• Ability to work in a team and take direction from senior staff.
• Full driving licence and own transport to site.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to deliver projects from design to handover.
• Support site teams with survey set out and as-built capture.
• Review designs and develop on-site solutions for delivery.
• Engage with suppliers, subcontractors and client staff throughout delivery.
• Prepare take-offs and manage procurement of materials for site delivery.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery aligned with programme.
• Maintain health, safety, environmental and sustainability standards on-site.
• Keep up to date with standards and CPD to support project delivery.
• Assist with health and safety requirements on site, including inductions and inspections.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and progress within the company.
