Job summary

NEP Group, Inc. is seeking a Junior / Trainee Technician in Creative Technology to learn and grow in live events and AV systems integration. You will work hands-on, test equipment, and support on-site builds while developing technical skills under experienced CT technicians.

The role emphasizes practical learning, teamwork, and flexibility to travel to different locations and events as you progress toward mid-level roles.

Qualifications

• Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is curious about technology and wants to learn.
• Background in AV, electrical engineering, IT, stage technology or another technical field is useful, but not the only way into the role.
• Practical ability, technical interest and motivation are just as important.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, test and configure professional AV equipment in our warehouse.
• Support the build, operation and dismantling of technical systems at live events.
• Work alongside experienced CT technicians on real projects and productions.
• Develop practical knowledge in areas such as video, LED, audio, lighting and networks.
• Learn how to identify and solve technical problems.
• Follow internal training and specialist external training or certifications where required.
• Gradually take on more responsibility as your skills and experience develop.

Creative Technology is looking for motivated Junior / Trainee Technicians who want to develop a career in the live events and AV industry.

You do not need to know everything when you start. We are looking for people with technical interest, motivation and the drive to learn. At CT, you will develop through hands-on experience, training and working alongside experienced technicians.

What will you do?

From the start, you will gain practical experience in a professional live events and systems integration/installation environment. You will:
