Job summary

Hamilton Robson in Dublin is seeking an AV Technician to support client sites with audiovisual and workplace technology solutions. You’ll work with experienced engineers, receiving hands-on training before progressing into an independent support role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of AV systems and video conferencing technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Supporting meeting rooms and workplace technology systems.
• Troubleshooting AV issues and responding to support requests.
• Performing preventative maintenance and basic break‑fix activities.
• Ensuring AV equipment is operating efficiently and reliably.
• Building strong relationships with on‑site customers and end users.
• Maintaining accurate records of support activities and equipment.
• Working alongside senior technicians to develop your technical skills.
• Travelling to client sites across EMEA when required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting meeting rooms and workplace technology systems
• Troubleshooting AV issues and responding to support requests
• Performing preventative maintenance and basic break‑fix activities
• Ensuring AV equipment is operating efficiently and reliably
• Building strong relationships with on‑site customers and end users
• Maintaining accurate records of support activities and equipment
• Working alongside senior technicians to develop your technical skills
• Travelling to client sites across EMEA when required

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in a corporate environment
• Understanding of AV systems and video conferencing technologies
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Flexibility to travel when required
• Experience with Q‑SYS, Dante, Crestron, Polycom, Shure or Logitech technologies
• Meeting room and collaboration technology experience
• Basic networking knowledge
• Live streaming experience
