Job summary

Cognizant Dublin is seeking a Language Expert to monitor and evaluate responses quality for your locale within the Language Experts group. You will assess model performance to ensure requests are understood, responses are accurate, and information is presented clearly.

Collaborating with cross-locale teams, you translate observations into actionable insights, help improve prompts and instructions, and contribute to data quality assessments and ongoing language research.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics with knowledge of language structures, phonetics, syntax, and semantics.
• Native-level fluency in the target language and exceptional grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuance.
• Strong analytical abilities to dissect language structures, identify patterns, and draw conclusions about language use.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting research findings and reports.
• Meticulous attention to language details including pronunciation and subtle variations.
• Understanding of cultural context, social norms, and non-verbal communication in a language.
• Research skills for data collection and linguistic analysis; programming knowledge (Python) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate responses quality for your locale within the Language Experts group.
• Collaborate with cross-locale teams to transform observations into insights and process improvements.
• Identify and call out what works well and suggest actionable enhancements.
• Drive model improvements in coordination with Subject Matter Experts.
• Analyze evaluation data to detect patterns, successes, and areas for improvement.
