Cognizant is seeking an IT Support Engineer (Labs) to join its MES MTS Data Analytics Validation & Infrastructure team on a customer site in Cork. The role requires solid software engineering fundamentals and experience delivering and supporting IT software solutions within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

The successful candidate will work in an established team, maintain and enhance software systems, ensure data integrity, and collaborate with scientists, engineers and IT staff to

Competenze

• Degree in IT or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience delivering and supporting IT software solutions.
• Experience developing testing and deploying software using Python SQL and Java.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience with GMP CSV and data integrity knowledge.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive improvements.

• Lead day to day activities of the team including managing system issues data issues and customer incidents and change requests.

• Encourage adoption of system functionality and new technologies to improve work processes.

Our IT department wishes to recruit a Software Engineer to join its IT Engineers (MES MTS Data Analytics Validation & Infrastructure) on a customer site in Cork. The successful candidate will have solid software engineering fundamentals and experience in developing and supporting software solutions. The position will work within an established team that provides software support to production and business areas.

• Pharmaceutical industry experience along with knowledge of GMP computer system validation (CSV) and data integrity requirements. Demonstrated learning agility both technically and in understanding business processes and applications.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.


• Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong self management skills with the initiative to identify and drive improvements.


• Effective communicator able to build relationships across functions.
