Job summary

Oliver James Associates Ltd. is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of software initiatives across the SDLC.

You will coordinate with engineering, product and architecture teams, manage plans, risks and dependencies, and ensure clear visibility of progress through to release. You will act as the bridge between product and engineering, helping teams deliver technical initiatives effectively on time.

• Demonstrable experience delivering software initiatives across the full SDLC.
• Strong understanding of Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies, including build, test, integration and deployment.

Title: IT Project Manager

Duration: 12 Month Daily Rate - View To Extend

Daily Rate: €400 per day

Location: Dublin

Working patterns: 2-3 days on-site per week

About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of software initiatives across the Software Development Lifecycle. You'll coordinate closely with engineering, product and architecture teams, manage delivery plans, risks and dependencies, and ensure clear visibility of progress through to release.

You'll act as the bridge between product and engineering, helping teams deliver complex technical initiatives effectively and on time.

Skills & Experience

• Proven project management experience within software or technology environments.
• Demonstratable experience managing and delivering software and technical initiatives across the full SDLC.
• Strong understanding of Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies, including build, test, integration and deployment.
• Experience working closely with engineering, product and architecture teams, including global or distributed teams.
• Strong stakeholder communication, project planning and cross-functional delivery skills.
• Experience managing risks, dependencies, technical integrations, APIs and system dependencies.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organisational and prioritisation skills, with a results-driven approach.
• Ability to work independently and confidently manage complex initiatives.
• Background in Financial Services, Payments, Banking or Fintech highly advantageous.
