Job summary

Dunnes Stores, Ireland’s leading retailer, is seeking an IT Procurement Manager to partner with senior stakeholders on procurement strategy and supplier management. You will drive IT category plans, run complex tenders, and deliver cost efficiencies in a fast-moving retail environment.

The role offers a dynamic team, exposure to a Digital Transformation Programme, and collaboration with the CDO/CTO. A Bachelor’s Degree and IT procurement expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a Procurement Manager role.
• Expertise across IT procurement; retail experience is beneficial.
• Experience in sourcing strategies, tendering and contract award.
• Outstanding communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Procurement execution including business requirements, market analysis, tender negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Implement procurement best practices across IT categories, with market insight and sourcing plans.
• Manage complex end-to-end IT tenders through to contract delivery.
• Develop sourcing strategies in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
• Drive cost reduction via process improvements and contract efficiencies.
• Own supplier contracts documents and manage the evaluation process to award.
• Enhance supplier performance through SRM and contract management processes.
• Provide specialist advice on commercial and procurement issues to stakeholders.
• Lead procurement activities for various business areas and participate in leadership meetings.
• Contribute to procurement policy, procedures and process communications.
• Collaborate with legal to develop robust contracts with key suppliers.
• Maintain relationships across Finance, HR and Legal.
