Job summary

WuXi Biologics Dundalk IT Operations Specialist will join the site IT team to support daily IT operations and partner with the global IT group on service delivery. You will help implement IT policies in line with corporate standards and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

You will provide desktop support, Windows Server administration, AD, Office 365, and participate in local/global IT projects while ensuring GMP/SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years IT support/IT operations experience.
• Experience in regulated/manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT site services (laptop imaging, Help Desk, Service Desk) per catalogue and SLAs.
• Collaborate with global IT to align site services with global standards.
• Perform IT Service Operations tasks for primary and other sites as assigned.
• Participate in local and global IT projects and roll‑out at site level.
• Adhere to GMP requirements, SOPs and controlled documents.

Job description

The IT Operations Specialist will work as part of the Dundalk IT team and collaborate with the global IT team support and execute WuXi Dundalk site IT operations. This role will be responsible for participating in service improvement initiatives and projects as assigned. The IT Operations Specialist will be key to the design and implementation of IT policies and protocols in line with corporate and legal policies and procedures. This role will also support service improvement initiatives and projects as assigned.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide IT site services following the service catalogue and service level agreements, including laptop imaging, Help Desk and Service Desk support.
• Collaborate with the global IT organization to maintain the IT Service in alignment with global & site‑specific IT services.
• Provide all assigned IT Service Operations tasks assigned for the primary assigned site and any other assigned sites.
• Participate in local and global IT projects and coordinate roll‑out of same on local site level.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
• Perform all duties in accordance with GMP requirements, SOPs and controlled documents.
• Will be flexible to take on additional tasks and responsibilities at the discretion of the IT Business Partner.
• Will act as a role model for the IT function and also the wider organisation in adherence to the WuXi corporate core values and PROUD culture.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

Qualifications:

• A Bachelors Computer Science or similar degree.

Technical Knowledge

• Desktop support incl. MS Office Suite
• MS Windows Server administration
• Network technologies / protocols and administration
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Microsoft Office 365
• ITIL Foundation Certification preferred

Knowledge/Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT support and / or IT operations, ideally in regulatory manufacturing environment.
• Excellent project management and coordination skills.
• Experiences in collaboration within international teams.
