Job summary

eir business talent is seeking an IT Manager in Dublin to oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensure reliable services, and drive continuous improvement aligned with the organisation's technology strategy.

This permanent role involves managing infrastructure, networks, cloud services, cybersecurity, and vendor relationships, while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver enhanced technology solutions, robust governance, and continuous improvements across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an IT Manager, IT Operations Manager, Infrastructure Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, cloud technologies, business applications, and cybersecurity.
• Experience managing IT service delivery, operational support, and vendor relationships.
• Demonstrated experience delivering technology projects and driving continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance best practices.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations and service delivery across the business.
• Manage IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, and business-critical systems.
• Ensure cybersecurity, business continuity, and disaster recovery requirements are maintained.
• Support and optimise business applications, integrations, and reporting solutions.
• Manage third-party vendors, service providers, and technology contracts.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead IT projects, system upgrades, and technology improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and deliver effective technology solutions.

Education

Degree in IT/CS

Certifications desirable (ITIL, Microsoft, Azure, Cisco, AWS, Cyber Security)
