Job summary

Kids Inc. in Dublin is seeking an Afterschool Childcare Assistant to create an immersive Irish-language environment at Gaelscoil Eoin - Ballsbridge for the 2026/2027 term. You’ll support homework, run engaging activities, and help children thrive after school in a fun, safe setting.

We offer part-time term-time hours with a guaranteed minimum of 10 hours weekly, with potential 20–25 hours. Garda Vetting is required; Garda Clearances may be provided as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Experience with children is preferred.
• Positive, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Garda Vetting and references checks required.

Responsibilities

• Help children settle after school and transition to afternoon programme.
• Assist with homework in calm, Irish where appropriate.
• Lead activities including sports, arts and crafts, play, and outdoor play in Irish.
• Foster children's social, emotional, physical, and creative development.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
