Job summary

Kids Inc. is looking for a Part-Time Deputy Manager for our Afterschool service at Gaelscoil Shliabh Rua, Ballyogan Road, Dublin 18. The role involves supporting the Centre Manager, leading the team, and delivering activities in an Irish-speaking environment after school.

A good level of spoken Irish is essential. Applicants should have at least 1 year’s childcare experience and some leadership exposure. Garda Vetting and references will be required; the position offers training and progression

Qualifications

• Good level of spoken Irish (Gaeilge) is essential.
• Minimum 1 year of professional childcare experience.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in childcare or related setting.

Responsibilities

• Support Centre Manager with day-to-day operation and admin.
• Plan weekly programmes, games, and activities.
• Lead, support, and motivate staff to deliver a high-quality service.
• Encourage Irish language use among children and staff.
• Ensure safeguarding, policies, and daily plans are followed.
