• 10+ years experience managing significant budgets in a global retailer or similar.
• Strong commercial judgement and financial expertise.
• Experience operating in a complex, fast-paced organisation (retail/FMCG).
• Ability to connect investment decisions to wider business performance.
• Comfortable challenging senior stakeholders with evidence-based rationale.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual investment planning for the Customer Marketing portfolio.
• Translate business plans into investment requirements and identify trade-offs.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape investment decisions.
• Own investment forecasting and reforecasting cycles.
• Establish robust prioritisation across activities, markets and channels.
• Challenge budget assumptions with clear commercial rationale.
• Develop a clear view of marketing investment performance.
• Translate financial data into actionable recommendations.
• Lead investment and performance reviews with stakeholders.
• Ensure learnings are embedded into future planning.
• Maintain strong financial governance and reporting accuracy.
• Drive automation and use of data for forecasting and reporting.
