SEI Investments in Ireland is seeking an Investment Operations Assistant Manager to oversee a specialist operations team within the fund accounting function, including pricing, corporate actions and dividend processing.

The role focuses on delivering accurate, timely outputs, driving process improvements, mentoring staff, and maintaining strong client relationships while staying current with industry developments and SEI's hybrid working model.

Responsabilités

• Sign-off on output per SAS 70 procedures.
• Process trades through automated trading system.
• Monitor securities activities including dividends and pricing.
• Facilitate design and implementation of core efficiencies.
• Develop and implement operational standards and procedures.
• Assist with staff development and training new employees.
• Stay updated on industry developments.
• Maintain relationships with clients, transfer agents and custodians.
• Coordinate HR tasks including hiring and appraisals.
• Prepare and discuss employee performance appraisals.

Position Description:

The Investment Operations Assistant Manager will be responsible for the oversight of an Investment Operations team. The Investment Operations team centralizes some of the primary valuation functions across the fund accounting department including pricing, corporate actions, and dividend processing. Key responsibilities will include:

What you’ll do:

• Daily, weekly and monthly sign-off on the output in agreement with SAS 70 procedures

• Trade input through automated trading system

• Monitoring day to day work involving securities, including receipts of dividends, pricing, and corporate actions

• Facilitate in the design and implementation of core efficiencies

• Create and implement operational standards and procedures across the team

• Assist with the professional development of staff and supervisors

• Train new employees

• Stay abreast of current industry developments

• Maintain a good working relationship with clients, transfer agents, custodians and internal relationship managers

• Coordinate human resources functions, including hiring and periodic employee performance appraisals

• Write and discuss employees’ performance appraisals

What you bring to the table:

• B.S./B.A. in Accounting or related field

• Minimum of 5 years of mutual fund accounting experience

• Minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience

• Knowledge of portfolio accounting systems

• Knowledge of database programming (Access, SQL and VBA) a plus

• Experience of Project Management

• Experience of Vendor Management
