The SEI Group’s operations in Ireland are carried out through three entities based in Dublin that conduct the Group’s business of managing proprietary UCITS and AIF funds, as well as providing administration and depositary services to funds established by third party investment managers.

Position Description:

This newly created position sits within the Alternatives unit of SEI and is designed for an experienced Assistant Manager who will act as a Transformation Lead within Investor Services. The role will focus on reviewing current processes, challenging existing ways of working and identifying practical opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, scalability, control and client outcomes across the operating model. The successful candidate will work closely with Investor Services management and key stakeholders across Client Operations, AML, Technology, Relationship Management and other business units to assess current-state processes, define future-state improvements and support the implementation of sustainable change. Candidates must have a strong understanding of Private Markets structures and associated transfer agency processes, together with the curiosity, judgement and credibility to challenge constructively and drive meaningful operational improvement.

  • Partner with Investor Services management to define and implement future-state operating model improvements that support scalability, consistency, accuracy and enhanced client service.
  • Assess key Investor Services processes, including investor data maintenance, onboarding, investor reporting, capital activity, payments and client deliverables, to identify where quality, turnaround times and control can be improved.
  • Develop clear, prioritised recommendations for change, supported by practical action plans, ownership, implementation timelines and measurable success criteria.
  • Drive collaboration and idea generation across Investor Services, Client Operations, AML, Technology and Relationship Management teams to remove process friction and improve end-to-end service delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology, workflow tools, data analysis and AI-enabled solutions to reduce manual effort, strengthen controls and improve operational insight.
  • Create and maintain process maps, procedures, implementation materials and management updates to support consistent adoption of agreed improvements.
  • Monitor the impact of implemented changes using clear metrics, including quality improvements, reduction in manual effort, faster turnaround times, enhanced control and reduced operational risk.
  • Support the training, coaching and mentoring of team members to embed new processes, strengthen change adoption and promote a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Carry out all duties assigned to your role under the Company’s Safety Statement, to ensure Health, Safety and Wellbeing for all employees for whom you have responsibility.
What you bring to the table:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in transfer agency, investor services or fund administration with strong exposure to Private Markets preferred.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering process improvement, automation, control enhancement, technology solutioning or operating model change.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess current-state processes, identify root causes and develop practical future-state solutions.
  • Experience using data, management information (MI) or workflow analysis to identify inefficiencies, evidence recommendations and measure the impact of change.
  • Strong knowledge of alternative investment structures, Private Markets operations and associated transfer agency processes.
  • Strong understanding of capital calls, sub-closes, equalisation, distributions, waterfall calculations and investor servicing requirements.
