Job summary

STRIVE Search is assisting a leading global investment manager in Dublin to hire an Investment Data Specialist on a hybrid basis. You will own investment reference data, ensuring accurate setup and governance across the platform.

You will collaborate with investment, operations, risk, finance and technology teams to resolve data issues and support new product launches. The role demands 5+ years in security master or investment data and familiarity with private markets or alternative investments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Security Master or Investment Data within financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments, data quality, governance and stakeholder management.
• Experience in private markets, private debt or alt investments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of investment reference data, ensuring the accurate setup, maintenance and governance of complex investment instruments across the investment platform.
• Partner with investment, operations, risk, finance and technology teams to resolve data issues, support new product launches and maintain high standards of data quality.
• Drive continuous improvements across the function through automation, process optimisation, enhanced controls and data governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of investment reference data, ensuring the accurate setup, maintenance and governance of complex investment instruments across the investment platform.
• Partner with investment, operations, risk, finance and technology teams to resolve data issues, support new product launches and maintain high standards of data quality.
• Drive continuous improvements across the function through automation, process optimisation, enhanced controls and data governance initiatives.

Key Skills Required:

• 5+ years' experience within Security Master, Reference Data or Investment Data Management gained within financial services.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments, data quality, governance and stakeholder management, with experience working across investment operations.
• Experience within private markets, private debt or alternative investments would be highly advantageous, although candidates with strong investment data experience from broader financial markets will also be considered.
