Job summary

Elevate Partners is exclusively partnering with a well-established Irish Family Office to hire an Investment Associate. Working side by side with the CEO, you’ll support investments across private and public markets while leading the finance function of the Group’s portfolio companies.

For the succesful candiate, there’s a clear path to becoming CEO of one of the trading businesses, with performance-based carry.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Corporate finance or transaction experience.
• Commercial, proactive approach to manage several businesses.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with opportunity awareness.
• Hands-on style in a small team.
• Self-motivated and confident working with the principals and CEO.
• Ambition to grow into senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support the review and monitoring of the Family Office’s private equity fund commitments.
• Track and report on public market holdings across listed equities, bonds and other instruments.
• Assist with evaluating and monitoring direct investments in privately owned businesses.
• Contribute to the analysis and oversight of property investments.
• Provide financial oversight of the Group’s operating companies.
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and cashflows for each business.
• Analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior year, highlighting variances, risks and opportunities.
• Produce clear management reports and KPI dashboards for the CEO and directors.
• Turn existing system data into meaningful insight that drives commercial decisions.
